ORRION CHEMICALS ORGAFORM has been granted 1.2 m€ subsidies from Agence de l’Eau Loire Bretagne, in order to reduce its water consumption. The 3 year program aim to replace the current semi-open network by 3 fully closed cooling networks (30°C/10°C/-5°C) is leading to decrease ground water consumption by more than 50 000 m3/year and positioning the company for a strong growth.
Concerned about environmentally friendly and low energy consumption technologies, ORRION CHEMICALS ORGAFORM has selected ARTIC INDUSTRIE for a 500-kW ammonia (R-717) cold unit for the water network at 10°C. The supply of a 1000 kW adiabatic group for the 30°C network and a 50-kW propane (R-290) group for the -5°C network, as well as the installation and the piping of the primary circuit will be provided by the company SMI-FCI.
